​We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Consultant Clinical Oncologist with a specialist interest in breast and/or gynaecological cancers to join our dedicated oncology team in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care, service development, and research in a well-established oncology centre.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide expert systemic therapy and radiotherapy for patients with breast and/or gynaecological cancers.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT), including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and specialist nurses, to develop and deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Participate in clinical trials and research, contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment and improved patient outcomes.

  • Take a proactive role in service development, innovation, and quality improvement within the oncology department.

  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior doctors, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals.

  • Engage in clinical governance, audits, and teaching, ensuring high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.

  • Contribute to regional and national oncology networks, supporting best practice implementation.

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

  • CCT (or equivalent) in Clinical Oncology, or be within six months of completion.

  • Substantial experience in the management of breast and/or gynaecological cancers.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills.

  • A commitment to patient-centred care, research, and service innovation.
