You will need to:
• Plan and design the project and proactively monitor its progress, highlight and resolve issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
• Ensure effective overall integrity of the project across West Yorkshire Pension Fund wider activity.
• Ensuring all project roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and adhered to.
• Ensure delivery of projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan and project governance arrangements.
• Manage third party contributions to the project.
• Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces.
To be considered for this new opening in our team, we are looking for Project Managers who are able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• Have a technical IT background
• Have a strong and effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
• Strong knowledge of resource allocation.
• Ability to identify critical delivery path deliverables.
