Senior Enforcement Planning officer

​Responsible for investigating a varied mix of unauthorised planning complaints, including those affecting a listed building, trees and waste and minerals, in line with National Planning Policy Framework and Local Plan, The majority will be complex in nature requiring extensive knowledge and expertise in Town and Country Planning, The cases will often require extensive negotiation and detailed assessments to enable appropriate resolution and will involve site visits; consideration of stakeholder feedback (town/parish councils; highways authority; neighbouring property owners; etc) applying relevant national and local policies and procedures and applying creativity whilst making judgements as to how the breach should be resolved (including whether formal or informal action is required).
