About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Transfer & Disposals Surveyor to manage property transfers and disposals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves property assessments, developing business cases, and overseeing transactions to support strategic asset management objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver property transfer and disposal programmes, ensuring full legal compliance.
Support strategic asset management planning to ensure properties align with service needs.
Contribute to asset class reviews and the development of asset strategies.
Conduct options appraisals on community and surplus properties, using feasibility studies and viability analysis.
Develop business cases for financially sustainable property solutions.
Oversee and execute property transfers and disposals efficiently while following due processes.
Draft heads of terms and liaise with legal teams regarding sales, leases, transfers, or joint ventures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Proven experience in estate management, particularly asset transfers and disposals.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work from designated offices at least two days per week.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Asset Transfer and Disposal Business Partner
